(202-482-1512) The NATO Consultation, Command and Control Agency (NC3A)
invites bids for the delivery of four(4) transportable battery powered
UHF DAMA System. The equipment will operate with embedded or external
crypto authorized for NATO traffic and receiver
over-the-air-rekey(SARK)capability. The four terminals shall be fully
compatible with NATO IV and DSCS III satellite communications in the
UHF band. They shall provide a single channel with half duplex
operation in either voice or data. The terminals shall be transportable
in a manpack configuration and shall weigh less than 25 kilograms,
excluding any cabling required for remote operation. The terminals
shall operate over the frequency range 225 to 400 Mhz. The terminals
shall be capable of wide band (WB) operation at 25 kHz channel spacing
and narrow band (NB) operation at 5 kHz channel spacing. The antenna
shall be foldable to reduce its size for transportation. The antenna
shall include a robust mounting system which is capable in winds of up
to 70 kilometers/hour. It shall use Right Hand Circular Polarization
and shall have a gain of at least 9 dBi. The terminals shall operate
from 12-30 VDC or from 110/220 VAC at frequencies from 50 t 400 Hz. The
active power source shall be selectable by switch or be automatically
selected Due to the military nature of this equipment, the
interoperability requirements imposed under NATO Standardization
Agreement STANAG 4231, (Edition 3, 1996) are required. All applicants
must be certified to compete in NATO ICB by the U.S. Department of
Commerce, Office of Telecommunications. Submit all nomination requests
