General Services Administration, Federal Supply Service, ADP Acquisition Center, Room 1017, 1941 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, VA 22202

70 -- IT PRODUCTS AND SERVICES POC Deborah Lague, Contracting Officer, (703) 305-5492. GSA Federal Supply Schedules for FSC Group 70, Part I, Sections A, B/C, D and E and Group 58, Parts VI and VII, covering Purchase, Lease, Maintenance/Repair of Commercial Information Technology Equipment and Software, Electronic Commerce and Related Training and Professional Services. The ADP Acquisition Center of the Federal Supply Service (FSS) is combining its Group 70, Part I, Sections A, B/C, D and E and Group 58, Parts VI and VII Federal Supply Schedules into one Schedule. The combined Schedule is the Federal Supply Service Information Technology (IT) Schedule. The Schedules are being merged to reflect the convergence of technologies in the IT industry, to have a single FSS Schedule source for IT products and services, and to eliminate redundant Schedule contracting effort by industry and by the Government. A new solicitation will not be issued for the Group 70, Part I, Sections A, D, and E, FSS Schedules which expire on September 30, 1997. Companies interested in participating should respond to Solicitation No. FCI-96-DL0001B under the continuous open season. The Sections B/C solicitation will be modified to change the name to the Federal Supply Service Information Technology (IT) Schedule, and to accommodate the products and services from the other Schedules. When the General Service Administration Acquisition Regulation (GSAR) final rule (Change 70) regarding Multiple Award Schedule pricing information submission by offerors, award criteria, and contract performance) is issued as a final rule, FSS will amend the IT Schedule solicitation to make necessary revisions; these changes will apply to offers received after the effective date of the final rule. Until the Change 70 is finalized Pricing information requests and method of award provisions will be those in the current Sections B/C solicitation. Open season offers for the Group 70, Part I, Sections A, D and E and Group 58, Parts VI and VII Federal Supply Schedules will not be accepted after June 30, 1997. Current 70 Sections A, D and E contractors which have a 70 Sections B/C or a 58 Parts VI and VII contract may request to modify their 70 Sections B/C or 58 Parts VI and VII contract to add their 70 Sections A, D and E products and services. Contractors which have both 70 Sections B/C and 58 Parts Vl and VII contracts may combine their contracts. Effective October 1, 1997 current Group 70, Part I, Sections B/C and Group 58, Parts VI and VII contracts will be designated as IT Schedule Contracts. The modified/redesignated 70 Sections B/C open season solicitation will be available on or about June 11, 1997 on the GSA home page at http://pub.fss.gsa.gov/fcoc/sched.htm#sch-s. Please check this address for periodic updates to the status of the solicitation.
