71 -- PURCHASE OR LEASE, INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF REMANUFACTURED SYSTEMS FURNITURE SOL N47408-97-R-1851 DUE 073097 POC Contract Specialist, ROSALIE HAMMONDS, 805-982-5097 The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the planning, purchase or lease (with option to purchase), installation, ongoing maintenance and removal/refurbishing of existing systems furniture and related accessories for various buildings. A minimum ten year warranty of systems furniture is required. Evaluation will be based on greatest value to the Government, evaluation subfactors include manufacturing practices taking into account internal evironmental program which includes recycling, environmentally sound protection techniques, natural resource conservation and concern for indoor pollution, value of warranty, quality of products offered, proven experience in systems layout and installation for remanufactured systems furniture; life-cycle cost considering maintenance and proven product durability; and overall price as described in the specification. Work will be performed at the Naval Construction Battalion Center, Port Hueneme, California.
