Martz, Regional Contract Specialist, (717) 547-1641, extension 543 The Federal Bureau of Prisons Northeast Regional Office seeks to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract for Architect-Engineering (A/E) Services for the Design and Construction Administration Services for a Federal Prison Camp and Staff Training Center for the Federal Medical Center, Fort Devens, Massachusetts. The Camp building shall be approximately 20,000 square feet. The Staff Training Center shall be approximately 6500 square feet. the estimated construction cost for this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 with an estimated performance period of 450 calendar days. The evaluation criteria for selection and contract award, in descending order of relative order of performance, are as follows: (1) Proposed project team and organization; (2) Comparable experience and performance; (3) Firms capability and capacity; (4) Past performance on contracts for government agencies and/or private industry; (5) Knowledge of locality and proximity to project; (6) Demonstrated success in prescribing the use of recovered materials and achieving waste reduction and energy efficiency in facility design. Only those firms residing in the State of Massachusetts, having the capability to perform the services described herein, are requested to submit appropriate data no later than July 15, 1997. Applicant responses to the aforementioned evaluation criteria shall use Standard Forms 254 and 255, which will form the basis of initial evaluation of qualifications. The SF-254 and SF-255 shall be submitted in duplicate. The data submitted shall be concise and must address all specific categories listed in the evaluation criteria.
