Specialist, (404) 842-6787 The Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC) contemplates awarding a contract to obtain the
development, evaluation, and dissemination of curricula and related
instructional materials for the promotion of occupational safety and
health in vocational, technical, and industrial education programs.
These materials are essential to reduce young worker injury through the
promotion of occupational safety and health concepts and practices in
secondary vocational, industrial, and technical education programs.
This will be accomplished through the development, evaluation, and
dissemination of occupational safety and health training curricula for
use by secondary school vocational, industrial, and technical teachers
in classroom instruction. The project is part of NIOSH s National
Occupational Research Agenda (NORA) Priorities for Special Populations
at Risk: Adolescents. Services shall be provided to the Government
through the issuance of task orders to the Contractor from time to
time. Only written requests for copies of the solicitation will be
honored and may be faxed to (404) 842-6727 or E-Mailed to BAS4@CDC.GOV.
Telephone requests will not be accepted. The date specified for receipt
of offers will be approximately 30 days after the RFP issue date.
Requests for the RFP must specify the RFP No. 200-97-2640(P). All
responsible sources that meet the above requirements may submit a
