Monk, Contracting Officer (410) 762-6456 The U.S. Coast Guard has a
requirement for a Mini-Workboat/Pushboat. The vessel shall be equipped
with two (2) diesel engines each capable of producing a rated gross
power of at least 240 BHP at a Marine-Workboat/M2 rating per each
engine. Welding, at a minimum, shall be in IAW with ABS Rules.
Construction shall be all welded steel. The SIC Code is 44. The
Mini-Workboat/Pushboat is a commercial buy and the bidder is
responsible for providing all information and/or descriptive
literature, (such as cuts, illustrations, drawings and/or other
information (necessary for the Contracting Officer to determine whether
the product offered meets the salient characteristics requirement of
the solicitation. If the bidder must modify a product so as to make it
confirm to the requirement of this solicitation, it shall include in
it's bid a clear description of such proposed modifications, and
clearly mark any descriptive material o show the proposed
modifications. Modifications proposed after sealed bid opening to make
a product conform to a salient characteristic in the solicitation will
not be considered. Final acceptance shall be at destination. The Coast
Guard anticipates issuing the solicitation approximately 15 days after
date of this publication. These dates are for informational purposes
only. Companies interested in bidding on this project may do so by

stated above (no telephone requests please), to the attention Sandy
Miller. This solicitation is 100 percent small business set-aside. All
responsible sources may submit a bid which if timely received shall be
considered by the agency. Delivery is within 90 days after award. When
