mundy_g@crane.navy.mil. The Navy requires 3 each Digital Vibration
Control System, Four Channel, and 1 each Digital Vibration Control
System, Sixteen Channel, Spectral Dynamics P/N 2550B or Equal, in
accordance with NSWC Crane Salient Characteristics. The systems shall
have features for sine, random, mix mode (sine on sine, sine on random)
classical shock, shock response spectrum, simulated gunfire vibration
and control of electrodynamic vibration systems. The systems shall be
constructed on a modular basis using standard production assemblies and
subassemblies and shall include a 17" monitor and laser printer. Some
of the salient characteristics are as follows: Capable of sine sweep
tests from 1 Hz to 10,000 Hz; Frequency sweep selectable in terms of
rate or duration -- Linear: .001Hz/min to 18,000 Hz/min -- Logarithmic:
0.1 octaves/min to 8800 octaves/min; Test profiles -- A maximum of 40
frequency segments may be defined; Test duration: Maximum 10,000 sweeps
or 999 hr, 59 min, 59 sec (hhh, mm, ss) -- unlimited test; Output
level: Automatically controlled with user defined max 0 to 10 volts;
Output dynamic range of 80 dB or greater; Harmonic Distortion -- Less
than -75 dB at full test level; Control channels -- Four input channels
(one system to have 16 input channels), (expendability to 32 channels)
with maximum input of +/- 10 volts; Measurement -- Parallel digital
rms, peak amplitude, and tracking filter level detection for each
channel processed. FOB destination delivery is required to NSWC, Crane,
IN, within 30 days after award of contract. This procurement is totally
set aside for small business concerns (SIC 3829, size standard 500
employees). FAR Part 12 procedures will be used. All responsible
