The objective of this program is to provide the Directorate for Space and Terrestrial Communication, Systems and Technology Division, Space Technology Branch technical support for forty-eight months(48). The contractor will be required to provide technical support in such areas as measurements, characterization and evaluation of state of the art photonic/microwave devices to be used in optically controlled phased array antennas communications systems and components. Specific efforts will be defined in the tasking assignments in accordance with the(IAW) attached samples. The contractor will be required to provide all necessary personel with extensive background and experience in the area of optical communications systems and components characterization. The contractor will also be required to provide proper supervision, management, materials and equipment to execute the efforts associated with the specific task assignments. This is a sole source acquisition restricted to universities and colleges to be negotiated under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(3), Industrial Mobilizations; or Engineering, Developmental, or Research Capability and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, FAR 6.302-3(a)(2)(ii).
