and Resources Management (OARM), Safety, Health and Environmental
Management Division (SHEMD), is soliciting contract technical and
advisory support for SHEMD's national programs. Contractor support may
include planning, development, implementation, management and
administrative assistance to safety, health and environmental
management officials at EPA facilities nationwide; conducting
inspections, audits, and accident investigations; providing health,
safety, and environmental management assistance to EPA laboratories;
preparing or reviewing site-safety plans; providing guidance for
personal protective or other safety equipment purchases; and serving as
advisor to safety, health and environmental management committee or
panels. This procurement will be openly competed among all interested
offerors. A fixed rate, Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity
(ID/IQ)contract with multiple awards is planned, with a twelve month
base period and four twelve month option periods. An estimated minimum
of 1,000 hours, up to an estimated maximum of 50,000 hours, will be
required for each period of performance. Contractors will be selected
based on their demonstrated technical and managerial expertise in the
field of safety, health and environmental management, including
pollution prevention; their knowledge of existing statutes and
Executive Orders as well as current professional practices in the
safety, health and environmental management arena, and the technical
and educational background of the proposed key personnel. The purpose
of this CBD announcement is to notify potential offerors of EPA's
requirement, generate the source list, and to direct interested parties
to the EPA's "Doing Business with EPA" Internet World Wide Web site for
further information on this procurement as it becomes available. The
solicitation, amendments and other related items for this procurement
will be posted on this Web site and can be downloaded. Interested
