Contractor to furnish all labor, material, equipment and supplies necessary for the Construction of a 16 lane remote engagement targetry system Modified Record Fire and an eight lane remote engagement targetry system Multipurpose Machinegun Range at the Western Mobilization and Training Complex, Camp Roberts, CA. The project will include a steel framed control tower, metal bleacher enclosures and covered mess areas, concrete masonry unit latrines, operations/storage building and ammunition break-down buildings.These facilities will be connected to the post sewer and water, site prep, drainage, parking areas, maintenance trails and flag poles. The magnitude of proposed construction is between $1,000,000. and $5,000,000. Contract performance is 14 months. 20% bid bond requirement; Davis-Bacon wage rates applicable; liquidated damages are $363.00 per day. PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR ISSUE. This solicitation is scheduled to be issued o/a 1 August 1997; bid opening o/a 1 September 1997. This solicitation is unrestricted. The standard industrial classification is 1629 and the small business size standard (including affiliates) is $17 million for the previous three years. There will be a $100.00 non-refundable charge for plans, specs and bid docs. A certified check or money order must be made payable to "USPFO for California" and mailed to this office. Company checks will not be accepted. All requests must be in writing and indicate company size and minority status.
