Project No. PSXE962031 "Construct PMEC Parking Area", PSXE962032 "Construct PMEC Athletic Training Facility", and Project PSXE962033 "Construct PMEC Parade/Drill Field". Successful contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, aicidentials, services, and perform work as required for each of the three projects. The projects will be issued together under one (1) solicitation. All work described is to be accomplished within the compound of the Tennessee Air National Guard at McGhee Tyson Airport, Knoxville, Tennessee. The Statements of Work are as follows: 1. PXSE962031 -- Construct PMEC Parking Area -- This new parking area will be constructed to accomodate 152 cars. Construction work includes demolition of existing asphalt paved road, demolition of existing storm drainage detention pond and associated underground piping systems, new site work including new underground storm drainage piping systems, cut and fill earthwork, underground electric conduit work, construction of new asphalt paved road and parking area with concrete islands, construction of six concrete light pole bases for future pole lighting by others, concrete curb and sidewalk work and some landscape work. 2. PSXE962032 -- Construct PMEC Athletic Training Facility -- total scope of this project, including all related site development, is approximately 24,660 S.Y.. Construction work includes demolition of some existing asphalt paved areas, demolition of concrete steps and walks, tree removal, sitework including new underground storm drainage system, cut and fill earthwork, construction of 21 foot wide 1/4 mile in length asphalt paved track, concrete step and sidewalk work, and some landscaping work. 3. PSXE962033 -- Construct PMEC Parade/Drill Field -- Total scope of this project including all related site development and improvements is approximately 24,145 S.Y.. Construction work includes demolition and removal of several underground utility structures and systems, demolition of two concrete floor slabs, steps, and concrete sidewalks, tree removal, new sitework including underground storm drainage systems, topsoil stripping, cut and fill earthwork, construction of a 484x156 foot asphalt paved parade field, asphalt paved parking area for 10 cars, underground electrical conduit work including some electrical wiring and connections, concrete curbs, concrete sidewalks and steps, and some landscaping work. Performance time is 420 days. Plans and Specifications will be availibale on or about July 1, 1997. A non-refundable certified check or money order is required for plans and specifications in the amount of $40.00 (total for all three projects) made payble to the Treasurer of the United States. The solicitation will be furnished at no cost. Plans and specifications will also be availiable for review at various plans houses within the state.
