Maggard, Contracting Officer (803)566-5155 ext 245. Dollar magnitude for the Repair 15 End of Runway 15/33 is $1,000,000 -- $5,000,000. The work to be performed consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to repair 15 End of Runway 15/33 at Charleston AFB, South Carolina. The work will be accomplished in two phases. Phase one must be completed before work on phase two will be allowed to start. The work includes but is not limited to demolishing existing asphaltic cement concrete (ACC) pavement and replace with new ACC pavement. Roto-mill existing ACC pavements on either side of the removal area. Remove rubber from the pavement surface at both ends of runway, restripe runway. Provide and install two duct banks under runway for future use. Provide and install sub-surface drainage system as required on drawings. Demolish existing runway center line lights, touchdown lights, edge lights and associated wiring. Provide and install new runway centerline lights, touchdown lights, edge lights, and associated wiringand duct banks. The solicitation will be evaluated using the Performance Price Trade Off Procedures. An integrated assessment of the offeror's price and past performance will be performed. Evaluations factors will be set forth in Sections L & M of the solicitation. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest price.
