The Joint Logistics System Center (JLSC) intends to negotiate a firm fixed price, sole source contract with RADIX II, 6230 Oxon Hill, Maryland 20745 for Defense Supply Expert System (DESEX) upgrades. The contractor is required to deliver a turnkey system which will include: the replacement of proprietary software embedded within the Defense Supply Expert System (DESEX) source code; documentation of the system in accordance with Military Standard 498; Year 2000 compliance; hardware replacement; system training of Government personnel to include performing on-site diagnostics; incorporation of Ethernet and email capability; and a system warranty.
