The FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire through full and open competition non-personal Contractor Engineering and Technical Services (CETS) for the Naval Aviation Engineering Service Unit by qualified personnel for the purpose of informing, instructing, and training Department of the Navy personnel in the installation, operation and maintenance of the following Navy and Marine Corps weapons, equipment, and systems: F18/ECAMS. The proposed procurement consists of one (1) task: 32296. The basic contract period for this task is 01 September 1997 through 30 September 1997. The task will also contain two (2) twelve month option periods and one (1) option period from 01 October 1999 through 31 August 2000. The period of performance, inclusive of options, will total 36 man months. This contract covers the Government's minimum needs. The solicitation will contain specifications for Contractor Maintenance Service Representatives as appropriate. The place of performance for the task will be MCAS Iwakuni, Japan. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification Number is 8711.
