The primary scope of work is submarine sonar processing improvements and their effects on display operability. Specific tasks will include sonar algorithm design and development, sonar modeling and simulation and sea test validation and data analysis. An Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract with Cost Plus Fixed Fee provisions is anticipated. Contract pe riod will be sixty (60) months. Total estimated level of effort is 231,000 manhours. Key personnel and minimum number required for each labor category will be as follows: Program/Project Manager III -- 2 each; Systems Engineer IV -- 3 each; Systems Engineer III -- 3 each; Computer Engineer IV -- 2 each; Computer Engineer III -- 4 each.
