This project requires construction of drainage improvements in the vicinity of the Community Center, United States Air Force Academy, CO 80840. This portion of the project includes, but is not limited to: site grading; construct concrete structures; installing storm drain piping; modifying existing drainage structures; building detention ponds, seeding, fertilizing and hydromulching; and maintaining temporary erosion control. Performance period includes 21 calendar days for administrative matters and 146 calendar days for on site construction, for a total of 167 calendar days. The estimated cost range of the proposed acquisition is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Solicitation will be available on or about 11 July 1997, in CD ROM ONLY. Funds are not presently available for this project. It is our intent to award this contract prior to 30 Sep 97 if fiscal year (FY) 1997 funds become available. Otherwise, actual award of the contract will occur when FY 1998 funds become available, or a continuingfederal budget resolution is passed by Congress, but not later than 30 Sep 97. This is an unrestricted solicitation in accordance with the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program and will include the procedures for Evaluation Preference for Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns -- Construction Test Program.. Women-owned and small disadvantaged business concerns are encouraged to submit offers.
