The Library of Congress intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Canorus of Nashville, Tennessee, to purchase audio digital/analog and analog/digital converters. This equipment is to be used in conjunction with Nagra-D equipment. Converters shall enable full 24 bit/96kHz recording capability. The items required to make the conversions are as follows: 1 each dCs 902D A/D Converter, 32-96kHz; 1 each dCS 952 HOC D/A Converter, 32kHz-96kHz; 1 each dCS 972 DDC Sample Rate Converter, 11.025-96kHz. All information received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the government. Interested parties may identify their capabilities to respond to this proposal; however, a determination by the government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
