945-3947 MILITARY TRAINING EXERCISE FOR THE OREGON ARMY NATIONAL GUARD
AT CAMP WITHYCOMBE, CLACKAMAS, OREGON FOR THE DATES OF 8 -- 11 AUGUST
1997. THE FOLLOWING SUPPLIES/SERVICES ARE REQUIRED. MULTIPLE CONTRACTS
ARE ANTICIPATED. CHEMICAL TOILETS: 20 each on 8 August 1997, 100 each
on 9-11 August 1997. Vendor will supply adequate toilet paper and
handy wipes. Toilets will be serviced twice daily between the hours of
0600 and 1900. service will include pumping and sanitizing. Toilets
will be uniform in appearance and style. Disposal fees will be included
in price. SLEEPING TENTS: Minimum of 4000 square feet per tent. 4'x8'
(32 square feet) per individual, 125 personnel per tent. Estimate 20
tents are needed to house up to 2500 individuals. Tents will have
lights and silent generators. Tents will be modular NO ropes, stakes,
etc. Tents will be uniform in appearance and color. Vendor will set up
NLT 1600 on 7 August 1997 and tear down after 0700 on 12 August 1997.
SHOWER UNITS W/ SINKS: Set-up will start on 8 August and pick-up will
be on 12 August, 1997. As a minimum the units will need to meet or
exceed 24 shower head units capable of supporting both male and female.
The following are the minimum requirements needed for the units. Scald
guard valve system, adjustable water temperature for individual
stalls, water surge guard, 80 gallon fast recovery water heater, soap
and towels for 2500 personnel, manned by qualified operators, 24 hour
service, self contained -- complete with generators and 1500 gallon
grey water bags 4000 gallon tank, outdoor lighting for sink areas. The
units will need to provide optimum traffic flow with a 10 minute
shower time limit and needs to at least accommodate 150 people per
hour, 400 people every 2.5 hours.. Women's units must include:
individual shower stalls, stools, electric outlets, mirrors, vanity
tables, clothing hooks and shampoo shelf. Men units must include;
Benches or stools, clothing hooks, individual shower stalls, and
shampoo shelf. ADDITIONAL SINKS: Set up 8 August andpick-up 12 August,
1997. 2 units, 16 sinks each with additional dispensers. The units are
required to have hot and cold water, liquid soap, paper towels,
attached mirrors, adequate space to brush teeth and shave, and it is
necessary for the units to have self containing grey water holding.
FOOD SERVICE: The requirement is to feed at least 500 people per hour
for a total of 2500 people. The requirement for tents will be four (4)
20ft x 40ft Dining Tents equipped with chairs and tables and two (2)
18ft x 30ft serving tents. There will need to be two separate trailers.
One will be utilized for the Breakfast and Dinner and one will be
utilized for Lunch. Each trailer will need to have their own staff
equipped with self contained propane, hot and cold potable water, two
(2) or more 1500 gallon grey water holding bags, grey water pumping as
needed, and a certified mechanic to ensure smooth and continuos
operation. The units will need to have a portable loading dock and a
generator capable for electrical standby. For the pre planned menu
please reference the point of contact in this advertisement. Warming
and Cooling beverages will also need to be provided by the vendor. The
specifications for these will be on the pre planned menu. GREY WATER
DISPOSAL: 4000 gallon pumper to haul and dispose generated gray water.
Gray water will de disposed of at the nearest approved site. Disposal
will be based on gallons, site fees and mileage. 1500 gallon gray
water bags will need to be supplied by the vendor to support mobile
showers, kitchen trailers, and additional sinks. Any firm that can meet
these requirements and want to obtain a Request for Quotation needs to
respond to the Oregon Army National Guard by June 30, 1997 at USPFO
