This is a Request for Information (RFI); neither a draft statement of work nor specifications are available. Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) administers computer systems for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) as a Full Cost Recovery service at the Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), Alabama. CSC is seeking information on Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) software that provides for the issuance of User Identifiers (UID); identifications of systems, applications and system resources; assignment of system accounting codes to systems, applications and resources; assignment of financial accounting system account codes to system accounting codes; system administration functions; reporting and inquiry functions. The software will be used to assign individual users of MSFC systems a UID, record granted access to various applications and systems, assign a twelve position system accounting code which will be used to accumulate resource utilization by the user or user group, and map the system accounting code to a financial accounting code for the purpose of recovering resource utilization costs from the appropriate cost center. Reporting and query functions must provide the flexibility to respond to user and management inquiries and to support the reporting of utilization costs to the Financial Management Office. CSC requests interested parties submit information describing product offerings which will perform these functions. Interested parties should submit product brochures, capabilities statements or other descriptive literature which provides sufficient detail to enable a preliminary functional evaluation of the COTS product.
