Henry, (703) 602-8105 The Naval Sea Systems Command ( NAVSEA ) intends to issue orders on multiple occassions over the period of Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-97-G-5192 with General Dynamics Defense Systems, 100 Plastics Avenue, Pittsfield, MA 01201. Orders will be issued for repairs (including emergency repairs), refurbishment and maintenance for the MK 82 Director and MK 200 Director Control and ancillary equipment which are major components of the AEGIS MK 99 Fire Control System (FCS). Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). General Dynamics Defense Systems is the only company which possesses the knowledge, experience, tooling and equipment necessary to perform the tasks described. No other source has the necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies or service satisfy the Navy's requirements. General Dynamics Defense Systems is the Navy's repair and overhaul depot for the MK 82 Director and MK 200 Director Control and ancillary equipment.
