is needed for Tenant Relocation Planning and Coordination of Moves in
support of the Pentagon Renovation Program, The Pentagon, Arlington,
Virginia. The work shall include, but not be limited to, managing the
tenant relocation process; updating, refining and executing the
Renovation Move Schedule; determining current priorities and
maintaining oversight within the parameters established by the concept
move plan; updating the concept move plan; acting as primary POC to
tenants to be relocated; defining move parameters; identifying and
resolving issues affecting the move sequence and schedule; managing a
furniture tracking system; coordinating vendor activities for the
renovation program; and coordinating with the Corps of Engineers,
Information Management and Telecommunications (IM&T), Pentagon
Renovation and Planning Office (PR&PO), Defense Supply
System-Washington (DSS-W) and various other tenant agencies to resolve
move-related issues.. The contractor will be required to provide a
local office and all equipment for work on-site and off-site. However,
office space within the field offices may be available. The contract
will be an indefinite-delivery type contract with a base year and four
one-year option periods. The maximum amount for the base year and each
option year, will be $2.3 million, for a total of $11.5 million over
the five year period if all options are exercised. The minimum
obligation amount for the base period will be $46,000 and $23,000 for
each option year, should they be exercised. Individual task orders will
be awarded as requirements are known. The government reserves the right
to exercise the options prior to the expiration of the one year period.
The selected firm (both prime and subs) will be required to use U.S.
citizens only on this project. The selection criteria will be based on
a best value procurement. The technical factors, not necessarily in
the order of importance, will include (1) experience with move planning
and coordination, (2) management of inventory systems, (3) procedures
and documentation of moves, (4) financial capability, (5) past
performance, and (6) manpower resources. Contractors may fax their
