The preproposal/site visit scheduled for 25 June 1997 is canceled.. This is a sources sought synopsis only to solicit information from interested small business concerns in order to determine whether the procurement will be set aside exclusively for participation from small business concerns. The services include, but are not limited to administrative requirements; operation, maintenance and repair of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems (HVAC), and refrigeration; maintenance and repair of buildings, structures, equipment, and miscellaneous services; operation, maintenance, and repair of utility plant systems, associated equipment, and distribution and collection systems; maintenance and repair of grounds and surface areas; pest and vegetation control; operation, maintenance, and repair of transportation equipment; custodial services, environmental requirements; and indefinite quantity work. The current year contract price is approximately $10 million and the estimated start-up costs is approximately $2.5 million. In order to demonstrate ability to perform in all areas listed above, interested firms are requested to submit the following information: (1) list of recent contract numbers with titles; dates, annual dollar amounts, list of services provided, points of contact with telephone and fax numbers for contracts of similar size and complexity, and (2) evidence of ability to fund a contract of this size.
