The Government intends to enter into a sole source contract with the Red River Army Depot Community Club (IMWRF), Red River Army Depot, Texarkana, Texas for meals. The Red River Army Depot Community Club was chosen to supply meals to over 300 troops during the period of 30 July 1997 through 29 August 1997. The troops will be trained and housed at Red River Army Depot. Due to the lack of logistical support it will not be cost nor time effective to transport the troops off the installation. Additionally, Red River Army Depot is a closed facility. No outside food service vendors are authorized clearance for entrance onto the Depot. The bid opening date is approximate only (0164)
