X -- CONFERENCE FACILITY AND RELATED SERVICES POC Carl Stottuth, Contracting Officer, (202) 874-5034 The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) anticipates awarding an order to the Chase Development Center (CDC) to provide Conference facilities and related services, to include technical support, to conduct the Capital Markets Trading School from October 27, 1997 thru November 7, 1997. The facility shall provide dedicated space consisting of one Main Training Room of 1287 SF with no pillars or impediments, on a 24-hour basis, to accommodate 24 students in a U-shaped setting, one student lounge, one tutor office and one student breakout room. The facility must be within the city of New York in the area bounded by William Street, John Street and Maiden Lane. The Main Training Room shall be equipped with a computer lab with networked stations capable of handling 24 students and configured to support the Global Trader Software (GTS). The following configurations are the minimum requirements to run the GTS: 1) One dedicated file server with at least 5MB space capacity; 2) network cards and cable operating at speeds of at least 10 megabits per-second-preferable Ethernet or Arenet; 3) networking software-preferable Novell Advanced Network; 4) one LaserJet printer and; 5) a "3-gun" video projector or high-quality LCD tablet (Sony behind screen projector 127IQ/1272, or equivalent), used for display the tutor's console for tutoring and demonstration purposes. Because of the specialized nature of this requirement, this procurement is a sole source and no solicitation is available. Letters and telephone requests for a copy of the solicitation will not be accepted and are considered nonresponsive to this CBD announcement.
