The selected properties must be located in the Tucson, Arizona area and provide easy access to Davis-Monthan AFB. Operation Snowbird provides contract quarters for visiting units while in training at Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona. Each visiting unit requires up to 56 double rooms and 4 single rooms for 2 weeks. The estimated total requirements for fiscal year 1998 include- 560 single room nights and 7840 double room nights. The proposed schedule follows: 11 OCT -- 24 OCT 97, 25 OCT -- 07 NOV 97, 08 NOV -- 21 NOV 97, 06 DEC 19 DEC 97, 03 JAN -- 16 JAN 98, 17 JAN -- 30 JAN 98, 31 JAN -- 13 FEB 98, 14 FEB -- 27 FEB 98, 28 FEB -- 13 MAR 98, 14 MAR -- 27 MAR 98, 28 MAR -- 10 APR 98.
