The original solicitation included the installation of an elevator, which has been eliminated from this solicitation. The project involves finishing an estimated 1800 square foot area of the upper floor of the main office building on the Bly Ranger District. Work consists of minor demolition, installing beam support post, framing, installing soundboard and underlayment, finish carpentry, complete interior finishing including all interior walls, floors and ceilings. In addition, the contractor shall construct exterior stairs, upgrade electrical/ communication wiring and lighting, install piers, post and beam in crawlspace, and install an HVAC system for the remodeled office area. The project is located on the Bly Ranger District of the Fremont National Forest, Klamath County, Oregon. Bid security 20%, performance security 100%, and payment security 50% is required. This procurment is being conducted under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program in accordance with PL 100-656. This is not set-aside for small business. (0164)
