Work shall consist of furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor required for sand blasting and painting all steel surfaces on two modular bridges 30 ft. and 50 ft. in length. The bridges are located in rock quarries along the Forest Development Road (FDR) 6402 and will require jacking and blocking before surface preparation and painting. The work sites are located on FDR 6402 on Kuiu Island. The Kuiu Island road systems originates at the Log Transfer Facility in Rowan Bay, located approximately 50 air miles and 90 water miles west of Petersburg, Alaska. The bridges are located approximately 20 road miles from Rowan Bay. Access to Rowan Bay is by boat or float plane only. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000.
