NHCU Roadway, at VA Medical Center, Castle Point, NY. This project will create a new NHCU Roadway, parking area, and patient drop off area. The existing temporary construction road will be utilized for part of the road base. Work will include but is not limited to the following: excavation, grading, drainage, paving,pavement marking, and electrical work. All work shall be in accordance with project drawings, specifications, national, local and applicable codes as per requirements of all governing agencies. Construction cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. A limited number of bid packages will be available on or about 7/31/97 and will be issued on a first come first serve basis until supply is exhausted. Mandatory contract completion time is 150 calendar days. BOD is 9/3/97 at 2:30 PM local time. Requests for bid documents must be in writing on company letterhead to the Contracting Officer, address above. No telephone or fax requests will be honored.
