Q -- HOME OXYGEN SERVICES SOL 648-36-97 DUE 081597 POC Julie Files, 503-220-8262, x1781 The VA Medical Center, Portland, Oregon requires the services for in-home patient oxygen for the SW Washington as well as Oregon patient catchment areas. Services include all applicable equipment and patient training and respiratory assessments as would be required in providing these commercially available services to patients receiving home oxygen benefits. The term of this contract is one year for an option to extend an additional four years. Total term not to exceed five (5) years. Any contract award based on this solicitation must be JCAHO accredited for services being provided. Some services required may be scheduled in advance and some may be on extremely short notice, less than four hours. Bidders must demonstrative their ability to meet the requirements and must currently be established for providing these services within the area described. Training may be required prior to patient hospitalization release and may be required on site at the Medical Center to both patient and caregivers. This service is 100% set aside for small business.
