R- Architect Engineer Services, Indefinite Quantity Open-End Full Discipline A/E Services. Projects may include but are not limited to the following: Project No. 1 -- Handicap Access Ramps at BLDG 4, 12, and 20. General renovations to station Chapel and various building repairs to structures at the SERE School, Rangeley, Maine. Subject to necessary changes, the total annual A/E Fee that may be paid under this contract will not exceed $200,000 in base year and $200,000 in option year. Selection criteria: (1) Specialized experience of the firm in the type of work required; (2)Professional capacity of the firm to accomplish the work in the time required; (3) Professional qualification of staff to be assigned to the project; (4) Past experience with respect to Defense Department contracts; (5) The firms CAD capabilities and compatability with the Naval Air Station, Brunswick system; (6) Location of the firm in the geographical area; (7) Volume of work previously awarded by Department of Defense. b. A/E firms which meet the requirements secribed in this announcement are invited to sumit completed standards forms 254 unless already on filed, U.S. Government Architect-Engineer Qualifications, to the Resident Officer in Charge of Construction, Naval Air Station, 200 Alpha Avenue, Brunswick, Maine 04011. Firms responding to this announcement with the submittal of SF 255 by 24 July 1997 will be considered. Respondents may supplement this proposal with graphic material and photographs which best demostrate design capabilities of the team proposed for the project. This is not a request for a proposal. c.
