R -- PLASTIC AND PAPER (NON-OFFICE) SUPPORT SOL 648-35-97 DUE 070397 POC Julie Files, 503-220-8262, x1781 The VA Medical Centers within the VISN 20 area (Idaho, Washington & Oregon) is requiring assistance in standardizing paper (non-office) and plastic products (non-medical) within the VISN 20 buying group. Services shall consist of the warehousing and minimum weekly deliveries of items that are required in support of the Medical Centers. Items are those that would be typically required in support of a general medical facility. Reduction of costs and the minimizing of warehouse space is paramount in providing these products. Term of this contract is for six months with an option for an additional six months. Total term is not to exceed one year in length from the date of award. Quotes must be returned by July 3, 1997 and proposals shall be provided demonstrating the ability and past performance of providing these types of supplies as well as managerial support in moving toward standardization and familiarity with community standards is considered advantageous. All costs associated with providing support services shall be reflected in the price of products being provided and no additional costs shall be allocated or reimbursed by the VA.
