Parent, Contracting Officer This procurement is to provide all equipment, labor, and materials to repair storm damage to the shoreline and perimeter fencing as indicated in the Statement of Work and on project plans/specifications. The contractor will be working adjacent to an active flightline. The work will be limited to specific areas and routes of entry to the flightline. Personnel and equipment will be subject to MacDill AFB regulations regarding access to restricted areas. Tasks to be accomplished include removing existing fence line and establish a silt fence for the duration of the construction, grade the existing area to form a smooth transition from the top of the slope to the bottom of or toe of the proposed erosion control system, install the cable concrete erosion control system, place a cast-in place concrete srip between the existing service road and the cable concrete system, replace the existing vinyl coated fence system with a new like system, and establish a rip-rap pile at the toe of the cable concrete system.The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
