Bauman Jr. (301) 619-2369 (Site Code DAMD17) Work entails repair of deteriorated sections of roads and parking areas including removal of old pavement and/or subbase materials and replacing same with the designated subbase and surface courses; resurfacing of existing deteriorated pavement with bituminous concrete surface course, to include the required tack or prime coat and the raising of any water valve boxes and/or manhole covers within the area to be resurfaced; sealing cracks and joints in paved areas; maintenance of gravel shoulders; repairing and installing new sidewalks and pads; repairing and installing new curb and gutter; double surface treatment of existing roads; alteration of parking lots; and striping of roads and parking lines. Period of performance under any resultant contract award will be one (1) year. Solicitation DAMD17-97-B-0008 will be issued on or about 11 July l997 and open on or about 11 August 1997. Because only forty (40) solicitation packages are available, requests will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
