Work includes, but is not limited to painting and/or applying vinyl wall covering to all walls of interior spaces, bulkheads, doors & frames. Installation of gypsum wallboard over existing concrete masonry walls. Installation of new floor finishes. Replacing interior doors, signage & chair rails. Conversion of areas into office spaces. Renovation of toilet rooms w/new fixtures & finishes. Install new lighting fixtures. Modify entrances including landscaping & new exterior concrete sidewalks/ walkways. Install fire supression system. Construct three level elevator addition. All work to be performed under a single lump sum firm fixed-price contract. The solicitation will be available o/a 7 July 1997. The performance period is 180 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered as the solicitation will be issued under full and open competition. Bidders should take note that funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made until funds are available to make payments under a contract. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation either before or after bid opening with no obligation to the offeror by the government. The estimated cost for this project ranges between $500,000 and $1,000,000. A non- refundable charge will be required to obtain the solicitation documents when available. (0167)
