CECOM Acquisition Center, Communications, Information, and Switching Systems Branch (CISSB), Fort Huachuca, AZ, is requesting information on commercial practices for Operational Support and Maintenance services described in the available Draft Statement of Work (DSOW). Firms with knowledge of these services are requested to provide information concerning the commerciality of the services and materials indicating their commercial practices, as well as terms and conditions customarily used by contractors for these services. We are also inviting at this time general comments and questions on the DSOW. Depending on the information received, the Government may acquire these services using procedures outlined in FAR part 12. The DSOW is currently available for download from the CECOM Acquisition Center Electronic Bulletin Board System (EBBS) in file library "97R0023", file name "Draft~2" (MS Word file). The CISSB EBBS can be accessed by dialing, using any communications program, ANSI VT100 or RIPGRAPHIC, (520) 533-0132. Modems should be a minimum of 28800 bps. The EBBS can also be accessed at TELNET 138.27.160.159. The CISSB Web page at http://138.27.160.249, provides instructions on the use of the EBBS and software for download which is designed specifically for use in accessing the EBBS. If you have not previously logged into our EBBS, create a user id and password (to be used each time you log in). The first time you log in, you will have thirty minutes of limited access but will not be able to download files. To download files from the EBBS, you must use File Transfer Protocol (FTP) to 138.27.160.159. Reference the EBBS Announcements for important notices and updates. Please ensure all log-in information (i.e., Company name, mailing address, point of contact, and phone number) is complete and accurate.
