Nichols, CS (804 279-3085) DESC: REQUEST FOR INFORMATION -- Best Value Telecommunication Audit and Billing Verification Services Based on Revenue Sharing Expense Reduction-Potential Sources Sought. PURPOSE: DSCR is seeking feedback, concepts, and ideas from industry on a proposed telecommunication audit and billing verification service. There is a need for DSCR to audit existing local telecommunication services. Specifically, it is DSCR's goal to put in place a best value contingency fee contract that can provide telecommunication audit and billing verification services. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Verify that services on subsequent billings. Provide on-site inspections of telecommunication facilities, equipment and demarcation points. As billing errors are identified, document discrepancies, submit claim, retrieve refunds, and review credit adjustments. Provide status reports on all claims submitted to vendors. Minimum disruption on current operations. Areas of interest to DSCR include, but not limited to: market and product literature, market research, past performance in this area, capability statement, and references. It is requested that all comments be provided in hard copy and on 3.5" MS-DOS formatted floppy diskettes in Microsoft Word 3.11 or compatible format.
