V -- AMBULANCE & WHEELCHAIR VAN SERVICE SOL IFB 665-20-97 DUE 090397 POC Rita Delgado, (818) 895-9357 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has a requirement for Ambulance & Wheelchair Van Service for the Bakersfield Outpatient Clinic located at 1801 Westwind Drive, Bakersfield, CA 93301. Contractor shall provide all personnel including paramedics and EMT's as indicated; equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation, and other related items and services to provide subject services to beneficiaries of the VA. Services will be provided primarily within the City of Bakersfield, CA, both to and from the VA Outpatient Clinic, and Bakersfield and VAMC Sepulveda, CA 91343, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Incumbent must be capable of meeting a maximum response time of 45 minutes. Performance will be for a 12 month period from date of contract award with four (4) additional one year periods. Contractor will have to comply with all federal, state, and local regulations. All requests for SOL must be in writing and directed to the Contracting Officer.
