16 -- MODIFICATIONS TO SIX INTERCOMMUNICATION SYSTEMS (ICS) SOL N68335-97-R-0275 DUE 073097 POC Ms. Dawn Chartier Contract Specialist Code 25213, (732) 323-2933. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircaft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into negotiations on a sole source basis with Palomar Products Inc., Carlsbad, CA, to procure modifications to six (6) Intercommunication Systems (ICS) currently installed in specially configured P-3 aircraft. These modifications are required to achieve compatability with concurrent aircaft system upgrades relative to the ICS interface. As the designer, developer and manufacturer of the currently installed system, Palomar Products is the only known company capable of making the necessary modifications. The Government does not own data, drawings or technical specifications for modifying these systems. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
