65 -- BLOOD GAS ANALYZER AND REAGENTS SOL DADA13-97-Q-0300 DUE 071897 POC Contract Specialist Robbin O. Goldsby (253) 968-4913 (Site Code DADA13) Madigan Army Medical Center requires a blood gas analyzer to be used during open heart surgery to test for analytes such as pH, pC02, p02, potassium, sodium, ionized calcium and hematocrit. It is estimated that approximately 300 samples will be tested per month. The analyzer will be used by perfusionists as opposed to laboratory personnel, therefore, ease of use and low or no user maintenance is required. The Government would prefer to enter into an agreement whereby the equipment is provided at no cost. All reagents, supplies, and accessories necessary will be purchased on a requirements type basis from the successful contractor. It is anticipated that a contract would be in place no later than 1 August 1997 for the base period through 31 July 1998 and 2 subsequent option years.
