This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. Therefore, this synopsis shall serve as a Request for Quotation, numbered F62562-97-Q2703 which seeks quotations based on the information contained in this synopsis. This synopsis and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-42. It is the Government's intent to purchase 65 ea of Motherboard, MTI R534 Mustang F, 512K, 4 PCI and 4 ISA, with Cyrix P200+ Mhz CPU or equal, MFR: M-Technology, Inc., and 130 ea of Memory Module, 16 MB, 72 PIN EDO. The delivery of supply shall be completed within 30 calendar days after receipt of order by the Contractor. FOB Point is APO AP 96338-5008. Responses to this notice will be considered for award to the responsible offeror submitting the lowest overall cost to the government. The following provision/clauses apply to this acquisition FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial (Oct. 1995), 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Mar 1996), 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Oct. 1995), 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Aug. 1996).
