F -- DISPOSAL OF HAZARDOUS WASTE SOL RFP 08-3K06-97 POC Contact Contracting Officer, Lyndia Countee, or Sharon Boykin, Contract Specialist at (301) 344-3125 The USDA, ARS, intends to negotiate on a competitive basis, a (Firm Fixed Price) Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity contract for the pick-up and disposal of hazardous waste chemical. The solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis and is expected to be issued on or about July 14, 1997. The proposed contract will have a basic period of performance with four twelve (12) month options. The contractor will be required to provide personnel, material, equipment, etc., to pick up, package, transport, treat and dispose of hazardous chemical wastes from the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center (BARC), Beltsville, MD., Glenn Dale, MD., and the U.S. National Arboretum (USNA), Washington D. C. services shall include hydrolysis, decontamination (if necessary), analysis (quantification and identification of organic/inorganic chemicals), emergency response (releases, spill cleanups or emergencies).
