Q -- DENTAL HYGIENIST SERVICES SOL RFQ 275-0036-7 DUE 080697 POC Stefanie Kongable, Contracting Officer, (913) 682-8700, extension 613 The Bureau of Prisons, North Central Regional Office, is soliciting for dental hygienist services for federal prisoners. Services include diagnosis, scaling, polishing, preventive education, and comprehensive health and dental history of inmate patients. In addition, the contractor will provide technical assistance in evaluating the periodontal needs of the patient population and formulate a recall program. The contractor must be a graduate from an American Dental Association-approved school of dental hygiene, registered, and licensed to practice dental hygiene in at least one state of the United States. Services will be provided at the Federal Medical Center, Rochester, Minnesota. Services will be required for a one-year base period, with four one-year option periods for a total of sixty months from the date of award. The estimated quantity for each 12-month period of the contract is 20 one-hour sessions per week. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business.
