Garcia (301) 443-2750 The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is soliciting proposals in accordance with the Simplified Acquisitions Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). IN ACCORDANCE WITH PUBLIC LAW 103-43, SECTION 762, AWARDS RESULTING FROM THIS SOLICITATION ARE LIMITED TO ACCREDITED SCHOOLS OF PUBLIC HEALTH. The purpose of the procurement is to plan, develop, and conduct a workshop, including logistical support, that will enable Project Directors and evaluators of Public Health Special Project grants funded in fiscal year 1997 to interact, exchange information, and jointly develop a uniform set of process, outcome, and impact evaluation measures to be used in reporting accomplishments to HRSA during the FY 1997-2000 funding period. Other topics for discussion and action as appropriate include but are not limited to: (1) promoting continuous improvement of the new reporting system, (2) communicating accomplishments of the PHSP Program to stakeholders, and (3) fostering partnerships for education and training in public health practice in a changing environment. The workshop will last approximately 2 days and will be held in the first quarter of 1998. Solicitation will be issued on or about 07/02/97.
