S -- SERVICES OF A VACUUM TRUCK TO PUMP AND TRANSPORT OIL/WATER SOL N00604-97-R-0039 DUE 071897 POC Paula Fukuda, (808) 474-2397 Ext. 209, Contract Specialist, Beatrice Appling, Contracting Officer Requirements type contract for services of a vacuum truck to pump and transport oil/water from Pearl Harbor Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) to the FISC Fuel Reclamation Plant, Oahu, Hawaii. The estimated number of gallons will range from 7,000 gallons to 10,000 gallons per service call, total estimated gallons is 338,000 per fiscal year. Service calls will be made but are not limited to the following locations: (1) Kilo, Bravo and Mike Docks for a total of 78 drip pans with approximately 50 to 100 gallons each pan for a maximum of 7,800 gallons; (2) valve chamber #5 sump (pumphouse #649) with approximately 100 gallons; (3) valve chamber #38 sump (pumphouse #696) with approximately 100 gallons; (4) valve chamber #1 with approximately 500 gallons; (5) Kuahua Loading Rack S-582 sumps with approximately 1,000 gallons; (6) valve chamber #32 (Sierra and Boat House) with approximately 200 gallons; (7) building #88 trenches with approximately 500 gallons; (8) valve chamber #4 with approximately 500 gallons; (9) valve chamber #6 with approximately 500 gallons; (10) valve chamber #7 with approximately 200 gallons; (11) Middle Tank Farm, tanks 34, 35, 36, 37 and 38 drain pits with approximately 500 gallons; (12) Red Hill Tank #775 at Adit #3 with approximately 10,000 gallons; (13) Pearl City Fuel Annex Tank #5 with approximately 5,000 gallons. A 5,000 gallon vacuum tank truck will require approximately one (1) to one-half (1/2) hours to fill and off-load (one complete trip to Red Hill Adit #3 Tank #775 or Pearl City Fuel Annex Tank #5). A 2,000 gallon vacuum tank truck will require approximately one (1) to one-half (1/2) hours to fill and off-load. All locations must be serviced as required. An estimated 26 service calls will be placed annually. This requirement will be solicited using commercial procedures set forth in FAR Part 12. Period of performance includes a base period of 01 Oct 97 until 30 Sep 98, with four (4) 12-month option periods. The Government intends to include the clause FAR 52.217-8 in the solicitation. Services to be purchased by inssuance of orders placed under the resultant contract.
