SOL DTFA-02-97-R-90066 DUE 072497 POC Phyllis Townsley, (405) 954-7816 The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) at the FAA Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has a requirement for moving services. The contractor shall perform all of the services required to remove office furniture, equipment, and related supplies from it's present location, transport the property to the designated areas within the new location and place them at the new location. The contractor shall furnish laborers, trucks, furniture moving equipment (i.e., four wheelers, carts). The resultant contract will be a labor hour/indefinite delivery (requirements) type contract, and includes the following skill categories: (a) Material Handling Laborer, (b) Truckdriver, Tractor-Trailer, (c) Truckdriver, Light Truck, (d) Truckdriver, Medium Truck, (e) Truckdriver, Heavy Truck, and (f) Forklift Operator. Requirement is for a base year and includes option provisions to renew for four additional 1-year periods, to be exercised at the sole discretion of the FAA. The proposed contract will incorporate AMS Clause 3.2.4-35, Option to Extend the Term of the Contract, and 3.2.4-34, Option To Extend Services. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates up to $500,000 per contract to provide accounts receivable financing. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $500,000 per contract. DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses.
