The National Park Service will be issuing a Request for Quotes (RFQ)
using Simplified Acquisition Procedures outlined in the Federal
Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 13, for work at Bryce Canyon National
Park, Utah. Bryce Canyon National Park is located about 25 miles
southeast of Panguitch, Utah. The work will consist of constructing
pedestrian safety railings with stone columns and peeled timber
railings at Yovimpa and Rainbow point overlook. Approximately 600
linear feet. Stone columns for the safety railings are to duplicate the
appearance of the existing stone columns in the park. The work will
also include some stone masonry work, which must match the existing
structure. The RFQ will be issued on July 3, with quotes due on July
