The project includes, but is not limited to (a) asbestos demolition work; (b) lead based paint abatement; (c) architectural demolition including removal of interior walls and partitions, existing corridor walls, ceramic tile and gypsum board, existing doors, corridor ceiling, flooring and base; (d) new architectural work including partitions, floor and ceiling finishes, shower units, interior doors and frames, new carpet, new tile flooring and vinyl base; (e) mechanical demolition (latrines only) including plumbing system, drainage system and ventilation fans; (f) new mechanical work (latrines only); (g) electrical demolition; (h) new electrical work. Estimated dollar value is between 1,000,000 and 5,000,000. This acquisition is unrestricted in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program (P.L. 100-656) and the bids will be evaluated utilizing the Evaluation Preference for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) Concerns in Construction Acquisitions Test Program.
