70 -- GENERAL-PURPOSE AUTOMATED DATA PROCESSING EQUIPMENT (INCLUDING FIRMWARE), SOFTWARE, SUPPLIES, AND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT SOL 6TSA-97-DJH-0157 DUE 063097 POC Point of Contact -- Contact Delta Helm by fax (816)823-3322 The General Services Administration intends to issue a contract to DCS Corporation, Alexandria, VA under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 through solicitation number 6TSA-97-DJH-0157. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 90-46. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A J&A for Other than Full and Open Competition is being prepared in support of this acquisition. This procurement shall cover the following: CLIN 1. Flight Planning Systems/Mission Data Loader with hardware and software support as follows: Micron Millenia Plus P200 w/ 200MHz Processor, 32Mb EDO RAM, 2Gb SCSI Hard Drive, 12X CDROM, 17" Color Monitor, Windows NT 4.0; SCSI-MID with Windows NT 4.0 drivers and cables; Windows NT 4.0 compatible printer; DAFIF Flight Planning System (Pre-loaded); DAFIF Graphical Mapping Application (Pre-loaded); and SCSI-MID API (Pre-loaded); CLIN 2. Change Kits and Derivative Systems as follows: Change kits to modify or retrofit Flight Planning Systems, Change kits to include engineering, prototyping, testing, software development, Contractor training, and spare/repair parts or software; Derivative Systems derived from the Flight Planning System to include engineering, prototyping, testing, software development, spares/repair parts or software and hardware configuration; CLIN 3. Training and related training material to designated sites identified in individual delivery orders. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received by June 30, 1997 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
