70 -- SOFTWARE LICENSE RENEWAL SOL DCA20098Q0006 DUE 071097 POC Art Kruse, 618-256-9735 The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Computer Technology Division, Procurement Branch (DTS42) intends to issue a sole source contract to Network Solutions, Inc., 505 Huntmar Park Ave., Herndon VA 22070, for the acquisition of software maintenance for the following proprietary products: Openlink for IBM MVS; Openlink for SMTP/API and Openlink for CA-TOP SECRET INTF. These software products are currently installed on equipment located at the DMCs in Ogden, UT; Dayton, OH; Oklahoma City, OK; Sarcemento, CA; San Antonio, TX and Warner Robins, GA. Period of performance for the maintenance is 1 Oct 97 through 30 Sep 98. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed software maintenance must indicate their interest within 15 days of this announcement. Any party interested in receiving a copy of the solicitation shall provide written notice to the Contracting Office. Datafax requests to 618-256-9414 are acceptable. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations/proposals received in response to this notice, since this synopsis cannot be considered a Request for Quotations/Proposals. The resultant contract will be firm, fixed price. All responses from responsible sources will be considered for evaluating the award of the contract. Oral communications are not acceptable.
