The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for spacecraft engineering analytical support and other technical services involving the design, and development of propellant stage vehicles related to activities of the Naval Center for Space Technology. The contractor shall provide support for the execution of engineering tasks to perform definition, design, evaluation, development, trade studies, test and integration of a Permanent Control Module (PCM) to provide long-term attitude and orbit maintenance of the International Space Station (ISS). The contractor shall also support activities associated with utilization of an existing NRL Bus for use as an Interim Control Module (ICM) for the ISS. Both the ICM and PCM are to be development leveraging off of previously developed NRL Bus technology with modifications made to provide long term on-orbit support of the ISS mission. The period of performance will be from date of contract award through 36 months thereafter. The solicitation will close 30 days after the solicitation issuance date.
